Almonds Lymphoma:what we mean


Lymphoma is a type of cancer that originates in lymphocytes, which are cells that circulate in the lymphatic system. When the destructive influence of almonds, which are part of the lymphatic system, is called as the tonsils of lymphoma.

According to the U.S. National Institutes of Health will make up about five percent of lymphomas of all cases of cancer in the United States. Traditionally the lymphoma is classified as Hodgkin's and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, which includes all other types. Modern classification of lymphoma are much more complex and sophisticated.

The lymphatic system is part of the immune system and are therefore considered to be persons with weakened immune systems due to HIV infection, or from certain drugs, the higher incidence of lymphoma.

Cancer of the tonsils is nearly 0.6% of the malignant cancer in the United States each year. It is generally difficult to diagnose the disease as the symptoms are quite overdue in their onset. Lymphoma is the second most common type of almonds malignant and usually manifests itself as a submucosal mass in asymmetrically enlarged tonsils. Patients are usually treated with a large mass in the oropharynx and swollen neck mass and complains of pain and weight loss. Cigarette smoking and heavy drinking are common risk factors for disease.

Lymphoma, which is limited to the tonsils is treated with radiation, while if the disease is advanced, then requires chemotherapy. At certain stages of lymphoma, it is appropriate to delete operation a malignant, followed by chemotherapy.

It is imperative to be carried out routine follow-up care for patients with cancer of the tonsils, as the risk of developing a second primary tumor is the highest in this group. Studies have shown that patients suffering from cancer of the tonsils have 30% risk of developing it for the second time.
